Armed Robbery - Caboolture

Two men and a 16-year-old boy have been charged following the armed robbery of a service station early this morning.


It is alleged the three used a stolen vehicle to drive up to the service station on Lower King Street around 12.40am.

They allegedly entered the store, made threats to the attendant before leaving with a quantity of cash.

Police later located the vehicle burnt out.

The two men, aged 18 and 19, have been charged with one count each of armed robbery, stealing, receive tainted property, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and arson. They are both due to appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court on Monday April 11.

The 16-year-old boy has been charged with one count each of armed robbery and unlawful use of a motor vehicle. He will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
