If you live at Woodford, D’Aguilar or Wamuran, you can catch the bus to all the fun and excitement of this year’s Urban Country Music Festival in Caboolture.
Moreton Bay Regional Council Mayor Allan Sutherland said Kangaroo Bus Lines was running a free shuttle service between Woodford and the festival on Saturday April 30 and Sunday May 1.
“Whether you’re thinking about spending a day at the festival or coming to one of our special concerts, there’s a bus leaving Woodford Community Hall at 9am and another at 4pm,” Mayor Sutherland said.
“Both buses will make stops at the bus shelter opposite the D’Aguilar Hotel and the bus shelter opposite the Wamuran school on their way to the Caboolture Historical Village .”
“To return home, you’ll be able to catch the shuttle at 2.30pm or after the concerts finish at 11.15pm.”

The main concerts this year are:
Saturday April 30 - More Country than Urban featuring Joe Nichols, James Reyne, The McClymonts, Jonah’s Road and 2011 Toyota Star Maker winner LukeDickens.
Sunday May 1 - More Urban than Country featuring Evermore, Thirsty Merc, The Potbelleez, Amy Meredith, and Sinead Burgess.

The Urban Country Music Festival is benefiting from funding under the Events Queensland Regional Development Program (EQRDP)
The EQRDP is an investment program designed to extend the flow of economic and social benefits of events to regional Queensland .
A state-wide initiative, the program is committed to enhancing existing events in regional Queensland , as well as assisting in the establishment of new events.
Since the EQRDP began in 2001, more than $16.4 million has been invested in 762 regional events, an indicator of the important role these events play in their communities and wider Queensland .
