Robbery Arrest - Caboolture

Police have arrested a 22-year-old man in Caboolture yesterday after two alleged robberies in May this year.

On May 10 a man walked into the Gympie Credit Union on Mary Street at Gympie and allegedly demanded money from staff, they complied and he fled with a sum of cash.


On May 30 a man entered the Wide Bay Credit Union on Adelaide Street at Maryborough and allegedly demanded money from staff, they complied and he fled with a sum of cash.

The man has been charged with two counts of robbery and was due to face Gympie Magistrates Court today.

Investigations are continuing.
