Robbery With Violence - Burpengary

Officers from the Caboolture Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating the assault and robbery of a 27-year-old Mango Hill man last evening.

Around 6.15 the man was walking south along Old Gympie Road at Burpengary when he was assaulted and robbed from behind by three men riding bmx bicycles.

The victim lost consciousness as a result of being assaulted, and the offenders stole the man’s watch and jewellery before fleeing in an unknown direction.

The first man is described as being 180cm tall, aged between 18-20 years old and with scruffy blonde hair. He was wearing black board shorts, navy blue t-shirt and white shoes.

The second man is described as being 180cm tall with a shaved head. He was wearing a red t-shirt and white, cream and brown camouflage cargo pants.

The third man is described as being 180cm tall with a shaved head. He was wearing denim shorts and a white shirt with a large ‘F’ on the front.

Police investigations are continuing.
