Unlawful wounding, Morayfield


Police have charged a 26-year-old West Australian man with a number of offences after an incident last night at Morayfield.


Around 8.40pm two men became involved in an altercation at a residence on Liberty Court.

As a result a 22-year-old Morayfield man received a wound to his back and was taken to Royal Brisbane Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The 26-year-old man allegedly fled the scene but was tracked and apprehended by the Dog Squad.

He has been charged with two counts each of assault occasioning bodily harm and obstruct police, and one count each of wounding and enter premises with intent.

He is due to face Caboolture Magistrates Court today.
