Crash, Bruce Highway, Elimbah

Update: FIVE people have been taken to hospital after a car rolled on the Bruce Highway near Donnybrook.

The car had five people inside, including at least one child.

Three people have been taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, and the other two have been taken to the Caboolture Hospital. 

The extent of their injuries isn't yet known.

The Department of Main Roads has reported that the crash is causing heavy congestion along the Bruce Highway in the southbound lanes, between the Bells Creek area and the Bribie Island turnoff.


Update: Traffic slowly returning to normal.

There is a crash on the Bruce Highway north bound 1km north of Pumicestone Rd. South bound lanes are open but congested with short delays being experienced. The north bound fast lane is closed for emergency services to deal with the incident.
