Traffic Operation, Caboolture #4OURnews


Caboolture and Redcliffe police conducting Operation Exit in Caboolture over the weekend nabbed nine drink drivers and issued 53 traffic infringement notices 

The operation, focusing on road safety and traffic offences, involved police from Caboolture and Burpengary stations assisting Redcliffe and Caboolture District Traffic Branch performing vehicle interceptions on the Bruce Highway exit ramps.   

A total of 1140 random breath tests were conducted with one person allegedly returning a result four times over the legal limit (0.210 per cent) 

Sergeant Mal Lilley OIC Caboolture District Traffic Branch said further joint traffic operations are planned throughout the Christmas period.   

“With Christmas approaching it’s a timely reminder for all drivers to plan their trip and obey the road rules as police will be out in force this festive season”.
