Clandestine laboratory located, Wamuran

Police have charged two local men following the discovery of a clandestine laboratory at a property at Wamuran.  

Just before 7pm, police executed a search warrant at the Sampson Road address and allegedly discovered a clandestine laboratory and firearms.   

A 30-year-old man was charged with six offences including one count each of producing a dangerous drug and unlawful use of a motor vehicle and two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon.  

Another 30-year-old man was charged with one count each of producing a dangerous drug, possessing a dangerous drug, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon.  

Both men are due to appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court today.

Just before 7pm, police have executed a search warrant at the property and allegedly discovered a clandestine laboratory. 

Officers are guarding the scene until scientific officers can attend. 

Three men are currently assisting police with their enquiries in relation to this matter.  

Investigations are continuing.
