Unlawful wounding, Deception Bay


Police are investigating an incident in which a youth sustained a cut to this neck at Deception Bay on January 21. 

Initial information suggests around 11.30pma 16-year-old boy from NSW was at a sporting field with friends on Government Street.  The boy was allegedly punched in the neck by a man with a sharp object causing a cut 

The boy attended Redcliffe Hospital for treatment to a non-life threatening injury. 

The man is described as Caucasian, 173cms tall, short dark hair and of a slim build.  He was wearing a black hooded jumper and black pants. 

Investigations into the incident are continuing.
