If you’re handy with tools or good at administration and customer service then this year’s Urban Country Music Festival at Caboolture needs you.
Volunteers with all sorts of skills are being sought for this year’s Moreton Bay Regional Council festival which promises to be bigger and better than ever in its new venue around the Caboolture Historical Village precinct.
Mayor Allan Sutherland said because the festival was being held in a new location due to building works in Caboolture’s Town Square more vacancies for volunteers had been created.
“We really are looking for people in all areas from pre-festival distribution of material to painters, carpenters, general handymen, administration, stage and artist assistants and especially people with good customer service skills,” the Mayor said.
“The festival generates a fantastic atmosphere and it’s exciting to be part of the action and we will train volunteers to suit the respective roles.
“In the past our volunteers have thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being part of a team and there’s always the bonus of being right there amongst the best country music Australia has to offer.”
