Update: serious motorcycle crash, Mount Mee.
The 40-year-old Varsity Lakes man seriously injured in a crash involving two motorcycles at Mount Mee yesterday morning died today in the Royal Brisbane Hospital.
Around 10.30am yesterday the man was travelling south on Mount Mee Road. Initial investigations suggest he lost control of his machine on a bend and was thrown into the path of another motorcycle coming the other way.
The other rider, a 37-year-old Griffin man, was not injured.
The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing their investigations.

The Varsity Lakes man was transported to the Royal Brisbane Hospital suffering life threatening head injuries.
The second rider, a 37-year-old Griffin man was not injured.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident.
