Police are currently at the scene of a traffic crash at Strathpine. Initial information suggests a train and a truck collided at the Railway Station on South Pine Road around 8.20. Injuries are not known at this stage. Traffic is being diverted at the intersection of Kremzow and South Pine Road on each side of the railway line however motorists are asked to avoid the area. There is no further information available at this time.
The train remains on the track and there are no reports of any injuries. Initial investigations indicate the train was moving slowly through the station when it impacted with the front of the truck causing relatively minor damage. Police are expected to remain at the scene for another hour.
