A 21-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a shooting of a man in his 60s at a party in Caboolture.
Police allege the victim was shot twice in the leg after a confrontation with a group of people at the party on Afton Street in Caboolture's north, at around 11.20pm.
The man was transported to Royal Brisbane Hospital with serious injuries. He is in a stable condition.
The 21-year-old from Burpengary will appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court on Monday charged with offences including attempted murder, unlawful wounding and possession of a firearm.
