There’s less than a month of sleeps to go before some of the best in the business rock into Caboolture for the hottest shows in town at the 2011 Urban Country Music Festival.
Mayor Allan Sutherland said that from Friday, April 29, to Monday, May 2, Caboolture Historical Village , the showgrounds and nearby sports grounds would be transformed into an exciting hive of entertainment and activity.
“We’re going to have two sizzling shows this year. Country fans will love our Saturday night concert line up, and those who prefer the pop charts are going to be blown away by the Sunday night line up,” Mayor Sutherland said.
American country pop superstar Joe Nichols will headline some of the best in the business at Saturday night’s April 30 More Country than Urban concert which also features James Reyne, The McClymonts, Jonah’s Road and 2011 Toyota Star Maker Luke Dickens.
On Sunday night, May 1, Evermore will take to the More Urban than Country stage, in a line up that also includes Thirsty Merc, The Potbelleez, Amy Meredith and Sinead Burgess.
“You’ve got less than a month to purchase your tickets to either show. See one concert for $65 for both for $120,” Mayor Sutherland said.
