Police have charged a man following an incident at Caboolture late last night.
It is alleged the 18-year-old became involved in an altercation with the victim at a hotel on Mathew Terrace around 11.30pm.
During the altercation the man allegedly caused lacerations to the 17-year-olds arm and hand.
The Caboolture man has been charged with one count each of unlawful wounding, going armed so as to cause fear and possession of a knife in a public place.
He has been bailed to appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court on April 18.
