Blaze of Glory
The 2011 Urban Country Music Festival fires up tonight … with the URBAN BLAZE concert at the Caboolture Showgrounds paddock.
Gates open at 4pm and the festivities kick off at 5pm … with BRADE, THE BOSTOCKS, PAUL COSTA, and JETTY ROAD eager to get the crowds dancing.
Two large bonfires will help set the scene … and there will be fireworks during the evening.
Food and drink will be on sale … but families are welcome to bring their own picnics for a night under the stars. Parking at the showgrounds tonight is free.
There’s a gold coin entry fee for the concert and money raised will go back to local charity groups.

Only hours to go
There are only hours to go before the fun begins at the 2011 Urban Country Music Festival.
For the first time this year, most activities will be out at the CABOOLTURE SHOWGROUNDS and CABOOLTURE HISTORICAL VILLAGE on Beerburrum Road , just north of the Caboolture CBD.
There’s heaps to do, starting with tonight’s URBAN BLAZE concert at the Caboolture Showgrounds paddock. Gates open at 4pm and parking at the showgrounds is free tonight.
For a gold coin entry fee, soak up the atmosphere of the bonfires, tap your toes to some great tunes and enjoy the fireworks.

Get there by bus
A FREE shuttle bus service will help visitors reach the Urban Country Music Festival starting tonight.
Shuttle buses will run between the Caboolture Station and the Caboolture Historical Village with stops at Caboolture Park Shopping Centre, Morayfield Shopping Centre, Caboolture Sports Club, the Caboolture RSL and the Caboolture Showgrounds.

Rodeo action
If country music isn’t your thing but you want some Urban Country Music Festival Action then check out URBAN RODEO tonight.
At the Caboolture Showgrounds rodeo arena from 6pm there will be three-and-a-half hours of non-stop action with ladies barrel racing, team roping, bareback bronc riding and steer wrestling.
The rodeo is organised by the National Rodeo Association and the Caboolture Show Society.
It is being held as part of the Urban Country Music Festival for the first time this year.
Tickets are available at the gate. It is $20 for adults and $15 for children aged 5 to 12.
