Moreton Bay Regional Council’s Division 12 Councillor Adrian Raedel said the expo at council’s CREEC environment centre at 150 Rowley Road , Burpengary, would offer a range of insights on sustainable living as well as plenty of entertainment.
“Activities run from 9am until 2pm and feature talks, guided walks, environmental presentations and displays, food, stalls, raffles, camel rides and fun for the kids,” Cr Raedel said.
Ranger Stacey will be MC for the day, with Bob Irwin presenting a talk at 10am.
“There’ll be lots to learn, but the expo is designed to be a great entertaining family day out at the same time,’ Cr Raedel said.
The expo will feature information on how residents can incorporate environmental values into their everyday lives and ways to adopt green living practices.
Entry is by gold coin donation with money going to Friends of CREEC.
