Police are investigating an incident in which a 21-year-old North Lakes man was assaulted in Mango Hill yesterday.
Around 9.20pm the man was driving along Anzac Avenue when a red VE model Holden Commodore sedan approached from behind.
The vehicle activated red and blue flashing lights from its front grill and the North Lakes man pulled into a nearby car park.
A man from the commodore approached the driver’s window and allegedly punched the driver in the head several times before returning to his vehicle and driving off west along Anzac Avenue .
Police are looking for a man described as being of Caucasian appearance, 195cms with a large muscular build, short brown hair, aged in his mid 20s. At the time of the incident the man was wearing a black single with white writing on the front.
The 21-year-old sustained swelling and bruising to his face.
