Missing man - Wamuran

Forty-six year-old Wamuran man Gavin Woods has been missing since Thursday June 9 and police are appealing for public assistance to help locate him.

Mr Woods was last seen in the Wamuran Basin area around 8.30am by members of his family.

It is believed he is travelling in a 1999 silver GU Nissan Patrol with Queensland registration 410 FFE.

Mr Woods has not contacted family, friends or work colleagues since last Thursday and his disappearance is considered out of character and concerns are held for his safety and well being.

He is described as Caucasian, approximately 170cms tall with a medium to heavy build, brown eyes and short brown hair (bald on top).
