Educate For The Environment

Moreton Bay Regional Council wants to hear from would-be educators who have a passion for teaching school children about the environment.


Council’s sustainability spokesperson Councillor Rae Frawley said council was looking for a volunteer education coordinator and education facilitators to help out with school programs at CREEC Environment Centre at Rowley Road, Burpengary.

“If you’re a part-time or ex-teacher, studying education, have worked in education or are passionate about the environment, one of these volunteer positions might be just right for you,” she said.

“The facilitator roles involve helping with designing and creating resources, displays and presentations as well as delivering presentations and conducting tours for students.”
