Trains through Brisbane CBD suspended

Trains through the Brisbane CBD are suspended due to a problem with the overhead power lines near Fortitude Valley train station.

Until further notice, trains from the north (Sunshine Coast, Caboolture, Shorncliffe, Airport, Doomben and Ferny Grove lines) will terminate at Bowen Hills station.

Trains from the southern and western lines (Gold Coast, Beenleigh, Ipswich/Rosewood and Richlands) are terminating at Roma Street station.

No trains are stopping at either Central or Fortitude Valley stations. Delays of one hour should be expected.

Six replacement buses are operating (at this stage) for passengers wishing to access city stations or continue their travel beyond Roma Street station.
