Update: A 27-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man have been air lifted to the Royal Brisbane Hospital as a result of a serious traffic crash at Wamuran this morning.
Initial investigations suggest that around 9am two cars were involved in a head on crash on the D’Aguilar Highway.
The drivers of the cars, a man and women are believed to have life threatening injuries.
Two children from one of the cars sustained minor injuries and have been transported to the Royal Children’s Hospital for observations.
The D’Aguilar Highway Wamuran is currently still closed to all traffic but is expected to be open shortly.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
There is no further information available at this time.

Motorists are advised of a multi vehicle crash on the D'Aguilar Highway just East of the township of Wamuran, outside the timber yard. Emergency Services are at the scene, please proceed through the area with caution.
