LNP Candidate for Morayfield, Darren Grimwade has officially launched his campaign for the state seat of Morayfield.
Mr Grimwade held the official campaign launch on Sunday 13th November at the Burpengary Tavern, with over 100 supporters in attendance.
Shadow Minister for Health Mr Mark McArdle, Shadow Minister for Education Dr Bruce Flegg and Federal member for Longman Mr Wyatt Roy attended the campaign launch.
“I think the event was a huge success. Many people came out today in support of my local campaign and in support of our Can Do plans for Qld.
“As you saw, the event was at capacity and we really struggled to fit everyone in. Given the makeup of our local area, I was excited to have so many young families there.
“As part of the Can Do Team I know how important this next election is to the future of Queensland - particularly for the sake of our children. It’s time for this tired 20 year old Labor government to face the people. As a father of three children I don’t want them paying off Labor’s debt for the rest of their lives, and that’s why I was proud to contrast the Bligh Government’s failures with the positive Can-Do policies we’ll bring to Government,” said Mr Grimwade.
Speeches were also delivered by Mr McArdle and Mr Roy, covering the State and Federal situation and the importance of supporting Mr Grimwade. Both members applauded the hard work Mr Grimwade has doing in listening to his local community and highlighting the grassroots issues.
