Serious assault police, Caboolture

Police have charged a 60-year-old local woman with serious assault after an incident in Caboolture last night. 

Around 9pm, police were called to a Mary Street residence when the woman allegedly became violent and struck a male officer in the neck with an open hand. 

While the woman was being arresting, it is alleged she bit the officer on the wrist. 

It is alleged she then bit another male officer on the forearm. 

In both instances, the skin was not broken however there was a transmission of saliva. 

The woman was charged with two counts of serious assault police and will appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court on 28 November.
