Someone who lives or works in in Morayfield is more than a quarter of a million dollars richer, but chances are they don’t yet know it.
Golden Casket is waiting for the mystery holder of a division one winning entry from Saturday’s The Pools draw 1374 to come forward and claim their prize.
Public Relations Executive at Golden Casket Louise Azzopardi said it’s possible the winner is completely unaware that they are carrying the equivalent of $252,773.83 cash around in their wallet or handbag.
“Unfortunately the entry wasn’t registered to a Winners Circle card, therefore we have no way of contacting the winner to let them know the great news,” Ms Azzopardi said.
“If you purchased an unregistered entry in The Pools draw 1374, from Nextra Morayfield Village in the Leda Shopping Centre, we suggest you keep your ticket in a safe place and have it checked at a Golden Casket outlet or online at www.goldencasket.com as soon as possible.
“You could be ending the year more than $252,000 richer!”
Ms Azzopardi said 2011 has been an extraordinary year for Nextra Morayfield Village.
“Saturday’s winning The Pools entry was the third division one winning lotto entry Nextra Morayfield Village has sold this year,” she said.
Nexta Morayfield Village owner Ken Allan said the hat trick of wins had generated a great deal of excitement, both in his two stores and in the local community.
“It’s really satisfying to see our regular customers’ lives changed for the better by a division one lotto win,” he said.
