Police appeal for assistance to help locate missing boy

Update: Police have located a missing 14-year-old boy who was reported missing from Deception Bay earlier this week.  

He was found safe and well earlier this morning.  

Police would like to thank members of the public and the media for their assistance in this matter. 

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 14-year-old Deception Bay boy who left home on January 22. 

Michael Buckley was last seen by police on January 23 at the Chermside bus interchange.  

He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, around 165cm tall with a heavy build, long afro-style brown hair and green eyes.  

He was wearing a pink t-shirt, a silver baseball cap and black skate shoes and was in possession of a black and silver scooter when he left home 

His family holds concerns for his wellbeing as he has not made contact with them.
