Armed Robbery - Deception Bay

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a service station at Deception Bay early this morning.


A man entered the Deception Bay Road business around 1.45, produced a knife and demanded money from the male attendant.

After receiving some cash the man walked from the store before running to a vehicle parked nearby.  He then drove off towards Redcliffe.

The attendant was not harmed.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 180cm tall and of slim build.  He was wearing blue jeans and a dark t-shirt.

The car is described as a faded red or maroon sedan with a rear spoiler.
