Fatal Crash - Burpengary

Police are investigating the cause of a single vehicle fatal crash at Burpengary early this morning.

Initial investigations reveal that a southbound utility ran off the Bruce Highway near the Buchanan Road overpass just before 1am. The car crashed trapping the driver who was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

The man believed to be in his early 30’s died at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
