84th Caboolture Show: Wet but Not Washed Out

The Caboolture Show celebrated its 84th year with a bang! Growing stronger each year, the show brought the community together in a weekend of celebrations and showcasing the best of the best.

The weather set aside its chill for a day, the sun was shining and instead of rain, it was the crowds that were pouring in. Friday saw the show start with style with people coming from all over the country to experience what Caboolture had to offer.

Fridays festivities commenced at 8am with traditional favourites such as horses, displays, farm animals and rides. Activities continued into the night with Barrel Racing and fireworks.

The cool and damp of Saturday didn't stop the spectators driving in. The day continued along the same lines as Friday. Lots of laughter, squeals of delight and chatter could be heard from within the walls of the 101.5fm OB van. The atmosphere at the show was one of joy.

Saturday continued with:

  • Horses and Show Jumping in the Main Arena
  • Wood chopping from 10am
  • The Ute Show and from
  • Grand Parade
  • Rodeo
  • 6pm onwards Fireworks, Monster truck, Freestyle MX, Crane Drop and more

On Sunday there was:
  • Displays of horse breeds
  • Jumping
  • Wood Chopping
  • Grand Parade
  • Mini Trots
  • Family Fun

All three days delivered safe family fun; with good food, great entertainment and fantastic entertainment. The spirit that makes Caboolture what it is was proudly on display for the entire weekend.
