Caboolture Rugby Union Rewarded for Being a Good Sport

State Member for Morayfield, Mark Ryan MP has announced that the Caboolture Snakes Rugby Union Club will receive a $2,000 Queensland Government “Positive or It’s Pointless” equipment grant for being a good sport.

The Coach, Wayne Bennett, Headlines Last Lunch

Decorated Queenslander and the best Rugby League coach ever, Wayne Bennett, will headline the grand final Better Business event for 2011 on Friday November 18. 

Moreton Bay Regional Council Mayor, Allan Sutherland, said it was an absolute honour to secure the man who coached the Broncos to six NRL premiership wins for the Better Business Lunch at the Eatons Hill Hotel and Function Centre. 

“Wayne Bennett is recognised not only in rugby league circles, but throughout Australia as one of the most influential and innovative coaches of the modern era,” Mayor Sutherland said.

Queensland Government provides lifeline to Burpengary Jets

State Member for Morayfield, Mark Ryan MP has excitedly welcomed news that the Burpengary Jets Junior Rugby League Football Club will benefit from the Queensland Government’s $20 million Sport & Recreation Infrastructure Program. 

Mr Ryan said the Moreton Bay Regional Council will receive over $144,000 in Queensland Government funding to commence stage one construction works for new official and player amenities for the Burpengary Jets Junior Rugby League Football Club.

Apply NOW for Sporting Infrastructure Grants

State Member for Morayfield, Mark Ryan MP, is encouraging local sporting and recreation clubs to apply for sporting infrastructure funding from the Queensland Government.
