Robbery charges, Lawnton

Three teenagers have been charged following an alleged robbery at Lawnton early this morning.

It will be alleged that around 3.55am three males entered a Gympie Road service station, pushed the attendant out of the way and took cash from the till. 


When the 25-year-old attendant attempted to intervene it will be alleged he was assaulted, receiving some facial injuries.

An 18-year-old Inala man has been charged with enter premises with intent to commit an indictable offence and robbery in company with violence.  He is due appear in the Pine Rivers Magistrates court tomorrow.

A 17-year-old Warner man has been charged with enter premises with intent to commit an indictable offence and robbery in company with violence.  He is expected to re-appear in the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on June 16.

A 16-year-old boy, also charged with the same two offences, will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act 1992.
