A TEENAGER is being treated for burns after her kitchen caught fire at Morayfield south of Caboolture.
Queensland Fire and Rescue Service said the 18-year-old received minor burns to her back when the stove caught fire as she prepared dinner at her Hilmont Crescent address about 8.40pm.
The flames had been extinguished by the time three QFRS crews arrived but the house was smoke-logged.
A QFRS spokesman said the house wasn't badly damaged and they managed to clear the smoke.
Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the woman was being treated at home for her burns.
