Wyatt Roy Stresses Down for Lifeline

Mr Roy and Trudy Cooper,
Indigenous Regional Coordinator for Lifeline,
are stressed down.

On Friday Wyatt Roy, Federal Member for Longman, stressed down for Lifeline, raising funds and awareness for phone counselling services at Caboolture Lifeline.

Mr Roy stressed down on Friday, dressing casually in a T-Shirt and boardies, for the cause.

Stress Down Day is Lifeline’s National Fundraising initiative, raising funds for phone counselling services.

Mr Roy said that he was pleased to be able to support Stress Down Day and raise awareness of the importance of the services that Lifeline provides in the local community.

“Mental health is a big concern for us – with twice the national average suicide rate. Lifeline’s services are an important way of assisting and supporting our community,” said Mr Roy.
